Before his current role at LWB, Brad served as the Deputy Director-General for Communities, Child Safety, and Community Participation at the Department of Communities in Queensland.
In this position, he developed the Helping Out Families initiative in South East Queensland and led efforts to reorient the system from tertiary interventions to secondary services that support families.
Brad's extensive career also includes serving as Assistant Director-General in Disability Services Queensland, where he oversaw policy and program development. With 29 years of government experience spanning child safety, disability services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services, education, and vocational education and training, Brad brings valuable insights and expertise to PCCF.

Brad Swan brings a wealth of experience to the Paper Cranes Children's Foundation Board. He is currently the Deputy Chief Executive at Life Without Barriers (LWB), where he has served since April 2013.
